Staff Responsibilities

Head of Unit
a. Oversees the overall operations of the unit.
b. Sets strategic goals inline with university strategic plan.
c. Responsible for project management, team leadership, and stakeholder communication.

Web Developer
a. Develops, maintains, and updates the portal’s front-end and back-end components.
b. Ensures compatibility with various devices and browsers, and works on user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) improvements.

Systems Administrator
a. Manages server infrastructure, including hosting environments, database management, and security.
b. Ensures the reliability, performance, and security of portal systems.

IT Support Specialist
a. Provides technical support to users of the portal, resolving issues related to access, navigation, and functionality.
b. Conducts user training and documentation.

Content Manager
a. Responsible for the organization, quality, and accuracy of content on the portal.
b. Works with various departments to ensure content is up-to-date and relevant.

Data Analyst
a. Analyzes user data and system metrics to inform decisions on improvements and new features.
b. Monitors portal usage trends and provides insights for optimization.

Code Vulnerability Expert
a. Focuses on protecting the portal from cybersecurity threats.
b. Conducts regular security assessments, manages access controls, and ensures compliance with data protection regulations.
